Exactly what data guinacio.cv collects, how the meeting-booking flow handles your name and email, who processes it, and how to have it removed.
The short version
This is a personal CV website. It has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no cookies. The only personal data it ever handles is what you type into a meeting request, and that exists solely to put a meeting on a calendar.
What is collected when you request a meeting
A meeting request sends three pieces of information: your name, your email address and a short description of the topic. They are used to email you a confirmation link and, once you confirm, to create a calendar event and send you the invitation.
The pending request is not stored in any database of mine. It is encoded in a signed link that expires after sixty minutes; if you never confirm, no calendar event is ever created. The confirmation email itself is real mail, though: it is sent from my Gmail account, so a copy stays in my Sent folder and in your inbox until one of us deletes it. Once you do confirm, your name, email and topic also live in the resulting Google Calendar event.
- Name, email address and meeting topic, supplied by you, used only for the booking.
- The IP address of the requesting client, held in this server memory for abuse limits and discarded when it restarts. It also appears in the hosting and CDN request logs described below, whose retention I do not control.
- Standard request logs from Google Cloud Run and Cloudflare (IP, timestamp, path, user agent). They record that a request happened, not the name, email or topic inside it.
Who else processes it
The site runs on Google Cloud Run and is fronted by Cloudflare, so both see the network request. Calendar events and confirmation emails go through Google Calendar and Gmail on my own account. Your browser also contacts Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) to load the typefaces this page uses, and the GitHub API to show public star counts on project cards; both receive your IP address and user agent as any web request does, and neither is told anything about you. No data is sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train anything.
Retention and removal
An unconfirmed request creates nothing: the signed link stops working after sixty minutes, and the only trace left is the confirmation email in your inbox and my Sent folder. Confirmed meetings remain in my calendar as ordinary calendar history unless you ask otherwise. Email me at [email protected] and I will delete the event and the related messages. No account or verification process required, since the address that asks is the address on the booking.
